- Also known as parallel pins
- Dowel pins are not used as bearing shafts under normal circumstances, due to their oversized tolerances
- An expanded range may be available on special order. Please enquire.
- Extractable dowels have a thread tapped in the end to fascilitate removal from blind holes
- Hardness 55-62 HRC, HV550-650
- An air release flat is ground along the full length of the pin to overcome the problem of pressure build up by trapped air.
